Hello! I am a beginner in the case of gardening; however, last month I was on the carnivorous plants festival. I found here some pretty plants so I thought that I have to have it! I bought two sarracenias. I think that they are different types, but I am not a specialist of it - one is thicker wereas the other one is slimmer. The problem is that yesterday I noticed that something is wrong with them. The top of mine plants looks like it is withering, it is brown while previously it was green. Is it natural or am I doing something wrong? |

![]() Can you post a photo? Do you have them sitting in a saucer of water? Yes we need a photo or two. Pitchers do not last forever so it MAY be just a dying pitcher. But we need a photo to diagnose the issue. |

The whole plant should die down in the winter and be replaced in the summer.
