Afternoon,

As you can see in the image, my tree is starting to lose its leaves whilst others brown/crinkle. I am also seeing new leaves/shoots come through though.

Is this a bad sign or completely normal? What is recommended to remedy this?

Thanks

It is hard to see the overall plant and just where you are getting yellowed leaves. Overall, your Pachira appears to be healthy. It is normal for some older, lower leaves to yellow and die as new leaves are added, always at the tip ends of stems.

For best results, keep your Pachira well watered - even sitting in water - at all times. Lots of bright but indirect light is best.

This plant tends to get quite leggy. Once it is at a desired height/width, pinch out new leaf growth at the ends of the stems to keep those stems from growing any longer. This will keep the plant looking full and compact.
