Hi, I'm from Zone 8A. I have planted 2 year old persimmon tree last November (2017). And My tree got new branches , leaves and flowers as well. around 20+ flowers it has. But since 2 days leaves started wilting and then the flowers are dropping off Sad . Weather was so hot for the last week (90+) , hence I thought that it will be back normal. Now weather is good. it went down to 75 and had a little bit rain yesterday and today. But day by day the condition becomes worst. Please suggest me how to take care of this???TIA

So... do you mean oriental persimmon? Or the native variety?

Not surprising that the flowers are dropping, especially if you have the locally native type.
American persimmons have male trees, those flowers always drop... but you can expect to lose most flowers on any fruit tree.

Hope that the leaves do better, there are diseases that persimmons get, but they're usually problem free... except when the possums and raccoons visit and strip all the ripe fruit off.
