What is this weed? It's alternate branched. Deeply lobed simple leaves. Grows maybe a foot tall (before it's pulled) has a distinct and slightly unpleasant odor when crushed. Spread underground. Hairy stem that is fibrous when torn.

Hi,

Looks like Artemisia vulgaris. Really hard to get rid of since it perennial and has very deep roots.
