I have these growing in my back yard
Are they harmful
Look like mushrooms to me but I'd like to know more

It looks like some kind of jelly cup fungus. As long as you don't eat them, they're harmless, a sign that decomposition is turning your mulch into "black gold" garden soil. When the mulch gets thin, add more.
