Thread OP

Any suggestions to improve this? It's 21'wide and 6'deep. Couple of holly and hydrangeas now. Pulled out one dead holly. House faces south/southwest. I was thinking boxwood and some small golden Cyprus?

Coneflowers, sedum, salvias, coreopsis, rudbeckia for flowers and for a hydrangea I would go with Incrediball. I have this one and it's gorgeous and it would really pop against the dark background of your house. All of the plants listed are low maintenance but will provide color and look really good together.

Oh and maybe you could even do a small trellis that goes up and over the window to the porch and put a climbing rose on it. That would look good too.
