I bought this "mystery" plant from a local gardening club at an outdoor festival in Pickens, S.C. The man who donated it to the sale did not place a name tag on it, and was not present to tell me what it was. It has been growing in our yard in Georgia for nearly four years and blooms the most delicate clusters of white flowers in late spring (it is presently blooming). I would love to know what it is. Can you help? ![]() ![]() |

Hi Mimikoko, ![]() I'm not sure but it reminds me of Deutzia. We have quite a few listed here in our database with photos for comparison: https://garden.org/plants/sear... Hopefully others will be along soon to offer suggestions or a more exact ID. ~ I'm an old gal who still loves playing in the dirt! ~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot! |

Thank you so much, plantladylin!! That is EXACTLY what it is!! I just browsed some pictures and it is "Fuzzy Deutzia". I am so grateful for your help, as I LOVE to know the names of what grows in my gardens and around the yard. 😊 |
