Donna, I must reply to this posting, because in 2017 I won first place in the Rose Photo contest on this forum, with my photo of "Caribia" or it's original name, named after "her" breeder, "Harry Wheatcroft!" I love this rose, have four potted up on the back deck right now, and two down in my unheated greenhouse. If I lose them all, I will just reorder next year, because to be able to have such a beautiful rose each year, is just a dream come true! While "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", I present seriously beholding over this rose! LOL. I don't know if you can click on my 2017 award button and it will come up or not, but could always check Garden.Org Photo Contest Winners, 2017. Once you find my photo, you have to decide whether it is worth the fuss to keep it alive, assuming it arrived in a healthy condition? It is a magnet for every rose disease known, so, if you want to keep it, you have to spray and hand pick rose slugs. But you know up here in Nova Scotia, this rose comes into full bloom, way before any foes get to defoliate her! And on the elevated back deck, even better! C'mon, you can do it! I want to see a picture of your "Caribia" this year??? Please???Cheers!
