Hello, We live next door to a nursing home and we have a 5-6ft concrete wall between us and them. It has concrete posts, and horizontal concrete slabs building up to the 5-6ft point. I am interested if it would be possible/look okay to paint the horizontal beams brown with masonry paint to imitate a wooden fence, and the posts white or another colour to again imitate the wooden fencing we have on the opposite side of the garden. Has anyone ever tried this/know of anyone who has? Does it looks okay, or should I just try and hide it with something else? Many thanks, John |

While i have not done this. an chruch buiding in our town has a similar concrete wall and someone has painted a lovely landscape on it. You might have to put something on the concrete (sealer?) before painting and use a specific paint (?) and/or seal it afterwards for it to really last. I'm not experienced in this area, but it's definitely do-able! |
