Hi there,

Can anyone help me identify what this plant is? It appears that it may be dying and I'm trying to determine if I can save it and what it is..thanks in advanced for any and all help!

The conformation of the leaves looks like sedge, but I've never seen a sedge as dense as that.

Thank you porkpal any thoughts are welcomed. It is pretty dense and it has these little guys growing on it as well. Not really sure what it is. It's been partially yellow like that since last year and not sure what to make of it.
