Hello. May is ending and soon there is June. Do you know what you have to do in your gardens this month? I have 5 top tips for you, that you have to remember about in june! 1. Harvest lettuce, early potetoes, radish and salads. 2. Prune spring-flowering shrubs. 3. Shade greenhouses to keep them cool and to prevent oberburn. 4. Mow the lawn once a week. 5. Be water-wise. What are your plans for june? |

What each of us does in our gardens/yards in June depends on our local climate. Here in south Georgia, USA June is sort of the break-off point between harvesting the spring-planted veggies and getting ready to plant again for the autumn. NGA has a veggie planting calendar (here is the list for my location as an example). The list tells us which veggies to plant and when. https://garden.org/apps/calend... The NGA calendar does not tell us about lawns and such and not everyone has a greenhouse but that information can be found in the forums. Hi & welcome! I'll be trying to water often enough to keep plants alive if it doesn't rain at least once a week, and spending as much time in the pool, lake, river, ocean as possible. Sooo hot! 👀😁😂 - SMILE! -☺😎☻☮👌✌∞☯🐣🐦🐔🐝🍯🐾 The less I interfere, the more balance mother nature provides. 👒🎄👣🏡🍃🍂🌾🌿🍁❦❧ 🍃🍁🍂🌾🌻🌸🌼🌹🌽❀☀🌺 ☕👓 The only way to succeed is to try. |
