Has anyone ever had any luck using the rose search database where you search by characteristics?

I haven't ever been able to get it to work.

I use it all the time. What's the problem you're having?

It always says, your search didn't match any plant on our database. Or something along those lines. I have tried different things with it and never once has anything come up. So I guess I must be doing something wrong.

Give me an example of something you might want to find and tell me which boxes you would check on this form:

Carly, I really do want to help you. I suspect I know what you're doing wrong, but I need a description of what you're doing to know whether my suspicion is valid.

Hi Zuzu,

Well I don't think I've ever filled out every single field. I think the last search I tried was something like..
class: floribunda
Bloom type: very full
Color: white

But ive also tried to be pretty specific.

Thanks Carly

No, that can't be it. I get 14 results when I search for floribunda, very full, and white.

My suspicion was that you had checked more than one box in a field, which would have given you no results because no rose in the database has more than one box checked in any field.

I bet your suspicions are totally correct! That definitely sounds like something I probably did. Sorry I couldn't explain what I did better. My brains feeling a little fried today. Thank you so much Zuzu. 😊
