In my front yard I have four trees, in two different areas, that all seem to be afflicted with sad looking leaves. I am not sure what type of trees they are. I assume they are not doing well because of the holes where something is eating the leaves. Recommendations on anything I can spray or put around them, that can be purchased at a lowes/hd would be appreciated! I'd also like to know what kind of tree it is.

Can you step back and take a photo of the entire tree and another of the branch structure? How are you watering?

Picture of the whole tree attached. No extra watering except for the tons of rain in April/May. Sprinklers will start up in the next week or two as the heat hits.

Even though you haven't said anything about your trees blooming, I think they may be dogwoods. The problem may be Dogwood Anthracnose:

No blooms but at the back of the property I have one with blooms and the leaves look beautiful. I didn't know they were the same thing. The only difference is this one is in the shade all day. I will do some research and see if they sell anything locally to keep the disease away.
