Here is a pic of Frostproof gardenias planted last year. Came through the winter with one getting yellow leaves and falling of. then started on the adjacent one and then the next one....I have tried an Iron fortified fertilizer, insecticide, fungicide. Any help appreciated. The pic is of the worst one, so far. I live in mid Alabama.

It looks like something is causing chlorosis. Were the treatments you mentioned applied after your shrub started looking poorly, or before? I don't do anything for Gardenias beyond water them if it hasn't rained for a few weeks, and put an occasional banana peel at the base. I would probably pull back the leaves & pine needles away from the base/crown of this plant. Is there landscape fabric covering this area? Did you use weed'n'feed nearby?

I tried the aforementioned treatments after I noticed the yellowing was moving on the the adjacent plants. There is no fabric around them and no weed and feed.
