I have read where mint is good to repel mice, ants and other insects as they don't like the smell of mint. Is that true? |

I do use it as an insect control for cabbage worms on my broccoli crops, etc. I just lay pieces of mint on top of the plant and it confuses the little white moth that is looking for a place to lay its' eggs. If there is mint that smell overwhelms the scent of the cabbage family plants apparently so the moth goes somewhere else to lay eggs, |
