This plant has taken over the plants in my beds. I've put heavy plastic down and it has just vined underneath and come out the holes. Does anyone know what it is? Better yet, does anyone know how to kill the beast?

It's Houttuynia cordata.

I would try a glysophate weedkiller such as Roundup. Maybe the one that can be 'painted' on to the leaves so the chemical is absorbed and taken down to the roots.

I've never seen hootenanny with such large leaves. Must be a regional thing. Think hard about using Roundup, I discourage any poisons.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
