Can someone tell me what is going on with my rose tree? It was planted two weeks ago.

Close up there are some yellowing leaves. Could you be overwatering it? Stick your finger in the soil and see if it is dry before you water it. Maybe some transplant shock?? Iam not a rose expert but there are plenty here. Someone will help you.

Welcome!! Welcome!

I think I overwatered it for the first few days. I noticed the leaves turning yellow quickly, and figured out from internet research that may be the problem. I also read that it could be due to the ph levels in the soil, but I'm not sure how to adjust that (newbie gardener here).
When I was looking at it tonight, I noticed something is munching on the leaves, and many of the leaves have white spots on them.

I would just assume that it was overwatering and stress from moving into a new place. Do you have holes in the bottom of your planter? If it is in one? If not there could be water trapped in the bottom bothering the roots.

Do what I do. The finger test. If your finger is wet don't water. Dry then water.

Hope that helps.

Lots of things munch on leaves. Iam having that problem myself in my mini roses
But I can't find a culprit as of yet.

And welcome Welcome!
