I was lucky to get a very old seed to germinate. Now it's hummingbird food! I haven't grown Salvia splendens before, and I like it. I was not successful germinating Yvonne's Salvia, however. Does anyone have seeds to trade from their own Yvonne's Salvia plant? |

I transferred it to a large pot, where it will share space with volunteer Salvia coccinea.![]() |

Wow! ![]() Was the pack stored in the fridge or at room temperature? Did you do anything special to get germination? I have a stash of old Salvia seeds and I'm considering how I want to experiment with them. ![]() Thanks! Find & share great deals on gardening items on the NGA Garden Deals Forum! The seeds were in a cool basement. Good luck! |
