Frank, Illini Warrior is on my wish list since you posted it with those gorgeous pics.

I've seen an exquisite pic of Illini Belle online and I wanted it. I've ordered it from Sevald's . It didn't bloom yet so
looking forward to see it blooming next year.

I love all of your Glasscock peonies. All of them are lovely.

Had to look at my list to see what Glasscock peonies I have, see Eventide is one of his. This one hasn't performed well for me over the last few years with our May blizzards and hailstorms but the first few year's flowers were gorgeous, such an unusual color. I'll try to get a pic out of my old computer today, sometimes it cooperates, sometimes not....

Decided to cooperate today. Might have finally got my OneDrive to work as well, we'll see when it syncs to the cloud...

I don't think there is a peony that can match the beauty of a perfect Red Charm bloom! Frank, yours looks AMAZING!

Liz, Eventide is new to me, looks really nice. I wish I could see in person.

I have a few Glasscock peonies: Fairy Princess (planted last fall), Flame, Mahogany, Mother's Choice, Salmon Beauty, Scarlet O'Hara (first flower last summer), Old Faithful (flowered 2 seasons), Red Charm (not flowered yet). I love them all, very nice varieties!!! I will post pictures once have an access to them.

Flame - first bloom. I added a lot of sand when planted to achieve more coral color than true red:

Mahogany- first bloom

Salmon Beauty- first bloom, I missed when it opened and the flower stayed like this for a week at least:

'Mother's Choice' has to be one of the most perfectly formed peonies I have ever seen.

Beautiful, Liz and Anya! Eventide's color is very unique! Is it a deep rosy color?

I think it was your pic and Alex's pic of Old Faithful that prompted me to get Old Faithful, Anya! I love its deep red color blooms. THe only thing I wish is that it likes my climate a little more. It has been struggling the last 2 years. MOther's Choice is another gorgeous one that I need to find a special place for!

Eventide hasn't bloomed for the last 2 years, hard to remember the exact color! I do remember being frustrated by not getting it quite right in any of my photos. I moved it this fall—was in a spot by a slightly raised walkway, think it trapped too much snow when we got our late spring storms and had soggy feet with the melts, lucky I didn't lose it. Hoping it'll increase better where it is now and it'll be protected much more...I got it from Klehm's in 2013, put in my spreadsheet that it's supposed to be a deep coral pink—know that's why I purchased it! Mention coral in the description and I'm sold..
Anya, your Mother's Choice is gorgeous! Looking forward to seeing it full of those beautiful flowers in a few years!
I always get Flame and Blaze mixed up. One is a much deeper red here than the other, not in the same bed but close. If mine ever gets big enough to divide I'll have to try the sand thing to see if it'll bloom much differently.

thank you all! Liz, I also love coral color (well, every color but coral is more rare in peonies Smiling ). I read Harvey's description of Flame and decided to try. Although I bought Flame from a big sore (BulbDirect) it looks like a correct variety.

Does Salmon Glow gave a fragrance Frank? Would you say it's more coral than pink?

Thank you! Scents in corals seem tricky. I'm hoping they'll have some coral peonies at the nursery if I can finally manage a trip next week. I don't mind no scent but I hear some of the corals are unpleasant to smell.
