I bought several of these plants from a local nursery who could only tell me that they were succulents. I have tried online plant identification tools with no success. I know somebody out there can tell me what this is!
Much appreciated...

When I saw the picture of the plant in bloom, I wasn't sure if it was the right plant. But when I looked up images of it, I realized you were dead-on. Sorry for doubting the certainty of your response! I was thinking of growing it as a small edging shrub in my Zone 9B location, and it looks like I might succeed.
Thanks for the assist. Identification had stumped my regular resources.
