Used navy yarn from thrift store.

Working on the last 2 rows of my sweaters yolk. This is color work using the waist stitch.

I had fun doing the cat stitch. So I started this blanket as a gift for my mum.



I did it in the colors of Ukraine's flag because her side of the family is Ukrainian and she's been quite upset about the war. So I thought it'd make a nice gift. I was going to do something with sunflower motifs on a blue background, but opted to go simpler.

My goal to make crochet socks is still failing.

I have yet to find a pattern that I can read. For some reason I'm really struggling to understand the heel construction... I keep hoping I'll find one with a lot of pictures.

Also wanted to make K a pair of socks. Only problem are his feet are size 15. So I need to customize them.

Have you tried Amazon?
There are lots of books on sock construction, crochet and knitting. I am definitely fond of the afterthought heel, and toe up!
