It's the very geometric looking thing with heart shaped leaves, not the kiwi vine.

Please look at Dioscorea villosa aka Wild Yam, Yam Root, Colic Root, Whorled Wild Yam.
I saw that the leaves were in a whorl on the stem. Good photo!
