I have Okanagan Blizzard from the Summerland Ornamental Gardens and live in the Okanagan Valley.
This Okanagan Blizzard iris only has soft yellow on the hafts, no faint mauve reticulations at all.
The AIS description only mentions white and soft yellow hafts with a yellow beard, no additional colours.

I understand the dilemma. Your iris matches the description in the AIS database but the images in the AIS database don't match the description.

If nobody in this forum can assist, I would suggest contacting the AIS to check if their images are correct. I can't see any yellow on the hafts of their images.

I'm fairly certain the picture of Okanagan Blizzard currently in the Database, and all of the pictures on the AIS wiki (all of which come from the same source, Blue J) are wrong. Don't know if your iris is Okanagan Blizzard, there are so many yellow-bearded white TBs out there. But, your iris does at least match the description of Okanagan Blizzard from the registry. It also looks very much like the type of thing you would expect see from crossing Debby Rairdon to Rippling Waters.

Apparently according to my friend in town, either Berthe or her family directly donated her three tall bearded irises to the Summerland Gardens. My friend, Penny also has Okanagan Lass and Okanagan Peach. I agree that there are a lot of white with yellow irises out there. Just seems that this one has some provenance or traceable source to it which is always a good thing with irises.

The AIS Iris Encyclopedia has removed the incorrect photos of Okanagan Blizzard and replaced them with the iris from the Summerland Gardens. At least this one meets the description.
