I was wondering if our poplar tree needs to be pruned. It is already starting to grow leaves on most of it but there is one entire section starting near the base that is looking like it will not be growing any more. Is it a good idea to remove the bad section or is it too late in the season already ? |

Anytime of year is fine to remove dead, half dead, or diseased branches. It makes for healthier, and better looking tree. Populars are finicky hear. I've even saw big trees lose whole branches. Why ? Beats me ![]() That's why I've never planted one, allthough I like them. Its the climate, or some disease. Maybe someone hear knows. Let's, both ![]() 😎😎😎 Anything i say, could be misrepresented, or wrong. |
