Hello everyone. I have a strange plant growing in between my concord grapes and raspberries.

Is this a giant weed? Or could it be part of my concord grapes or raspberries.

If it's a weed I will pull it out. Thank you for your help.

It may be Pokeweed. If it is, you'll need to remove the entire root structure to prevent it from growing back.

You can look at the Pokeweed in the NGA database and compare images.

I immediately thought of Poke also and I do consider it a weed but I actually have friends who purposely grow it for flower arrangements. Go figure.

Thank you very much for your help. I just wanted to make sure it was a weed and it had nothing to do with my concord grapes or raspberries.
