Iris with weak stalks irritate the heck out of me. So over the long term (not this year), which iris have you grown that tend to have weak stalks and flop over. |

Sorry Mary, but I can't spare the time to make my list right now. These days are the busy growing, gardening days and can only make time for brief comments. Perhaps later when the season turns I can contribute. It is a really good idea for a thread. ![]() Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing? |

My Harvest of Memories does that. Sometimes she will straighten up. Last year, she just flopped over and was lying on the ground. It was very rainy just before bloom time last year I think I will move her to a sunnier spot. I got a new one to compare, and she bloomed short. But, she is still blooming! ![]() "Luck favors the prepared mind." - Thomas Jefferson |

When I divided Circus Stripes I moved it to a sunnier spot. I noticed in my photos that it is almost straight and staked, so it must have been leaning over. ![]() |
