If it's not yellow, it's not a daylily!

It does have a yellow throat, so I guess it is a daylily:)

Hemerocallis 'Platinum Palette Salmon Sunrise', 2018 photo, Dark Rose Daylily, (DeGroot, 2000), USDA Hardiness Zone 3, 5" ruffled dark rose, Michigan Bloom Month 7c, In Garden Bed S4 for 4.4 YEARS (Gilb). Planted in 2014.

Really enjoying everybody's lovely blooms. Thanks to all for liking our daylilies. Good news to know that the DLS sent from here to Mike and Larry are doing well. If anybody wants to take a chance on a clump of Wild Horses, contact me. It's such a pretty flower but doesn't grow well here, so maybe another place would be right for it. @Ina, Damsel Fly is so pretty, I have never seen it before. @Larry and Mike, I don't know why I haven't bought Crimson Pirate, it is such a reliable bloomer in so many different areas of the country.

Thumb of 2018-08-13/Raven/1304f7 Pardon Me--an old cv but produces so many colorfast, perfect blooms for a long time in August here.
Thumb of 2018-08-13/Raven/4faf3b Women Seeking Men-I have posted this one before but it is such an outstanding tall long bloomer with always perfect blooms that it deserves a second appearance.

Here it is the middle of August and naturally the daylilies are looking pretty haggard at this time of year. But, I decided to go ahead and take a few "Clump" shots anyhow. These "clump" shots are more of the foliage because there are not clumps of blooms on them at this time of year. I thought I would show the actual clump, then a photo of the bloom so it could be seen better.
Hopefully, this will better show scape height and plant habit while at the same time showing the bloom.

Actually the number of blooms has nothing to do with the AHS definition of a clump.

Thanks for that, Larry!
And look at how good the foliage looks. Not a blemish and we have been through heat and drought all summer.

I commented on the foliage in the other thread, but will do so again here. It stood out in the photo as much as the great looking blooms.

Thanks, Larry. When I uploaded the photo, it kind of popped out at me, too. I hadn't really thought about it, but I am going to walk around the garden this afternoon and make note of the ones that look really good at this point. They are the ones to put along the walkways in the garden!
