Round Midnight, best scape out of two. Looks like bud count of 20. Other one might have a dozen and a third scape is just now popping out from the foliage.

So many great looking clumps. I posted some of these on another thread but will add here.

Susan, how old are you clumps? Pics are awesome. I just don't let mine go very long, I am always digging into them to sell so I can get new ones.

Many of my clumps are 5 years +. I really need to do some serious dividing this fall. I'd like to add some newer ones but it's hard for me to sell enough of the older ones to completely get rid of them. Therefore I end up keeping a few fans and in a few years have another big clump. Here are a few pics from back in June.

Do two doubles equal a clump of four? I know two pair don't beat four of a kind.

Violet Angel - this cultivar has been very vigorous. It was a double fan planted last season, and it has 7 scapes on it this year, and loaded with buds, even in our drought.

So many pretty blooms! I want all of the daylilies. I have only 2 which are well established, and a couple of babies in their first full season.

My faithful elegant candy.. It's ~8 years old.

And a classic around here, Stella D'oro.

I'm waiting for South Seas, Purple D'Oro, Guitar Street, and Gentle Shepherd to grow up. They're all going to bloom but are all new to the garden late last season.

OK, so occasionally I cheat just a tiny bit but I always fess up.

Today was the final bloom on two of my favorite daylilies, the kind that if I could only have ten varieties in my garden, these would be under consideration.

Interestingly, each had three final blooms and each of the six blooms was on its own scape.

Here is my tiny cheat for tonight, my clump of;
