I have a customer who wants to hid a cement wall. The space for a shrub is probably 2 - 3 ft wide; and tall in height would be around 12 ft. What would be some options for me to use. I live in Zone 5 (Maine).

Doing a google search, I found this page listing a few Maine Native shrubs for consideration; they could be pruned to the desired height: http://www.maine.gov/dacf/php/...

Here are our database entries for those shrubs, with photos and growing information:
Downy Serviceberry (Amelanchier arborea)
Juneberry (Amelanchier canadensis)
Allegheny Serviceberry (Amelanchier laevis)

Marsh Andromeda (Andromeda polifolia)
Black Chokeberry (Aronia melanocarpa)
Buttonbush (Cephalanthus occidentalis)
