Thread OP
High Desert, CA.
I have a 6' Tamarisk with a lot of shoots and 2 or 3 main stalks. Can it be transplanted at this size? AND does anyone know when the best time of year this should be done?

If you ask the opinion of the California Invasive Plant Council (and anyone else that has had to deal with this plant), they would request that you rip it up and replace it with something that's not eating the West. I don't normally suggest that folks get rid of certain plants but, if you have a Tamerisk or a Tree of Heaven, rip them up.
