I am growing zinnia seedlings in compost soil and noticed a strange growth on one leaf. It has grown with the seedling as well. What could it be?

Welcome!

Are you sure it isn't the seed still attached to the cotyledons (seed leaves)?

It might appear to as the cotyledon growth changes its shape. I don't know what else it could be.

So you think it's just the shell of the seed? Thanks for your response Smiling
