I see it growing in a large quantities in a garden in my work, there are 2 types, big one (photographed) and a small one. What it is exactly ?

I agree that is an Agapanthus, a very lovely flowering plant that is quite drought tolerant. We got lots of that around here in Cali, a very showy drought tolerant plant, loves full sun and can endure our dry heat here.
