Hi, I'm hoping someone here can help with a vexing problem I'm having. I live in downtown Chicago and I built 4ft by 4 ft self-irrigating containers on my rooftop deck last summer. In one of those boxes, I had a strawberrry Plant that produced very well last year into the fall. This spring, the plant started coming back. Each week, it has grown bigger and bigger until it has now overwhelmed a corner of the planter, roughly one foot by one foot, if not more already. (This is well bigger than it was last year.) However, it has not produced any fruit yet, or even a flower/bloom. Has anyone seen or heard of this before? What should I do? |

Have patience! You had a much cooler spring than last year, and they're waiting for heat. |
