I am new to vegetable gardening and I have what my Grandfather called a volunteer. This plant is a broad leave vine with yellow bloom. It took over a small lettuce and onion patch. I'm going to let it grow I would just like to know what it is. Any help is appreciated.
I added a pic of my whole garden also.

Beautiful and productive garden!! Looks like a type of squash or possibly a gourd. Time will tell.

Thanks for the compliment and info. I had a feeling it was in the gourd/squash family. The reply reminds me of my Grandfather. He always said Time will tell. Thanks again. Also if you have any lines on Gravely stuff let me know. They are old but they get it done. Thank You!
