It can get weedy, but in the spring its leaves along with lambs quarter, poke, dandelion, colts foot and other wild greens are good eating along with mustard, turnip tops, spinach. Cook them with a small piece of Jowl and make a pan of cornbread. That is good eating and a good spring tonic for the body.
