Hi, I have a mystery fruit tree in my garden! I'm leaning towards maybe an apple tree but I have no idea!

I need to know because I want to give the branches to my degu and it needs to be on the safe-woods list for him to chew :)

Thanks in advance!

It looks very much like a wild European crabapple (Malus sylvestris).

If you decide to give the wood to your cute little degu, please be sure that no one has sprayed any chemicals or insecticides on the tree.
