Some of the "novelty" peonies are interesting the first or second day after blooming, then turn really ugly. I have two such peonies and they are planted next to each other so I can have double ugly! Peony 'Green Lotus' and Peony 'Raspberry Rumba'

I have Raspberry Rumba and Pink Luau, I do think Pink Luau does not look so bad as it fades. It is not as crazy a flower as RR.

I may have a bloom on Green Lotus. First one. Probably won't be much to look at. Whatever possessed me to buy it. Confused

The cactus types have never wowed me. Unique, yes. But that's about all I can say; they are unique.

Boy, I really like that one Frank. Beautiful and so different. But I am tapped out on space so I will be going into withdrawal from now on as I look at peonies I want. Course there is the lawn to convert to garden. But it is out front and that means another 'ghetto' moose fence. Have to think about it.

Before it turns ugly, its petals fall off. This one is OK!

This came on a tuber which I had not got potted.
I only had it in basin with water .....(too many things to do in spring )

The tuber was labelled as Bowl of Beauty. I think that is probably correct , except the pink outer petals are white on this one.
