Hello,

A plant has come up in an old pot which I don't use anymore, and beautiful pale pink-violetish flowers are now coming on it. I would like to know what plant is it. I had initially thought maybe it's a weed, but let the plant grow, but now it is producing beautiful flowers. Please find attached a picture. Lot of grass and an old plant which is no longer growing are still there in the pot, so I hope it's easy to distinguish the plant with the flowers. Thanks a lot in advance!

Willowherb (Epilobium sp). I don't know which one.

I think it may be Epilobium montanum.

That was my best guess but I wasn't quite sure.

I'm not quite sure either but it was the best fit for Norway.

Thank you everyone! If it helps in identifying further, the plant's flowers open up once the day breaks, and as the sun goes down, the petals close up. Several more buds now going to flower.
