This shrub is growing in a heavily shaded area underneath a honeysuckle tree / bush. It appears to have very small white buds that have begun to emerge. I'd like to identify.

That's definitely a Euonymus sp., and probably a Euonymus kiautchovicus 'Manhattan'.
