I am loving the new Iris that has just bloomed for the first time. This type of iris seems to be a little finicky in this area, but I am trying to figure out how to keep them happy! (I live in Zion Illinois, just 2 miles south of the Wisconsin boarder. )

Welcome! clarbarr to the iris forum. that's [a] lovely iris that you've posted; one that has coloration similar to the remontant 'autumn explosion', that i grow.

i enjoy reblooming iris, and when purchasing are always a bonus if they are remontants. if they are similar in color and bloomtime, the "re's" have a better chance ending in my shopping basket. Hilarious!
