Hello!! I need help identifying this plant. Is it a weed or was I blessed with a tree?

Looks like you have an oak tree. I do not know which, though.

I agree, it looks like an Oak (Quercus) seedling but I'm not sure which one. Here are links to our database and also the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center with a few Oaks that are found in Texas:
