Paul2032 has been my mentor and introduced me to this site and Forum.
He said this is a great place to get info.
My name is Mike.
I have an iris that is absolutely unlookupable on the internet because of its name, Gallery.
Does anybody have good photos of this iris so I can compare it to mine?

Hi Mike, and Welcome! to the Iris Forum! Hurray!

I looked Gallery up in the database and there was no picture. It described the flowers as being a purple and white plicata.

Have you tried the American Iris Society webpage? They also have an extensive database.

Maybe someone here grows it.

Welcome to the iris forum, Mike. Paul is a great irisarian and photographer. It is also rumored that he has been known to give a homeless goat a ride in his truck.... well, at least a place to sit and think for a spell....... Ask him about that. Rolling on the floor laughing

Gallery is listed as a tall bearded by Tom Johnson registered in 2005. I don't grow that one but perhaps someone on here does. Good luck. Smiling

Here is the goat story. One of my neighbors daughter moved home and brought with her a bunch of various animals and chickens. Among them was a pygmy goat. I went outside one day and it was in my front yard feasting on some of my flowers. I tried to get it to go back across the street but it would not go so I drove around the corner to tell the owner. I parked in front and went to the house to tell the owner. When I turned back I saw that the goat was on the seat in the front of my pick-up eating a napkin.......

oh, and a tip for you -- put the name Gallery in quotes ie ....... "Gallery" That'll clue search engines to treat the iris name as a separate entity and narrow the search parameters
