I HAD THIS PLANT IN FLORIDA AND EVERYOINE CALLED IT AN UNBRELLA PLANT, BUT WHEN YOU PUT THAT IN NONE OF THEM LOOK LIKE THIS ONE. HOPING YOU CAN SHINE A LITTLE LIGHT ON THE BUSH. THANK YOU.

This is the only picture I have of it. The stock is not woody, it is soft, like an elephant ear.

Hi Leahanne, Welcome!

It's really difficult to tell from your photo. The only plant here in Florida that I know of as Umbrella Tree (Umbrella Plant) is Schefflera but it doesn't look like the photo you've supplied.

Umbrella Tree (Schefflera actinophylla)
Dwarf Umbrella Tree (Schefflera arboricola)
Dwarf Umbrella Tree (Schefflera arboricola 'Trinette')

Are you sure it is a bush?... is it woody?
I can't see clear,... can you take photo from bit distance, and add photo of trunk...
Mean while,.... that plant looks like an arroid to me.. like Amorphophallus konjac or Amorphophallus paeoniifolius. leaning to Konjac..

Umbrella Arum is one of the common names for A. konjac!! I think you have the answer. Thumbs up
