On the side of my driveway, there's about 6 or 7 of these plant's.. I've never seen them before. I live in central Florida. On 2 & a half acres. Dirt road & all.. I took a few pictures of one of the bigger one's. I've searched all over the web & the only thing that looked almost like it was great lettuce. But not exactly the same.. I don't know lol.. Please help me figure this out. I'm into plant's and gardening. Need to know if they are good or bad plants. Edible or not.
Thank you.

Your photos aren't very clear, but it's clearly a tall plant with a red stem and the foliage is unusual in the way the leaves point upwards. My best guess is that it's some kind of Arnoglossum?

According to the USDA Plants database, there are 6 species of Arnoglossum (sometimes called Cacalia) native to Florida. Most of the photos I can find online are of Arnoglossum atriplicifolium- have a look, and see if you think this is the right ballpark, so to speak:
Pale Indian Plaintain (Arnoglossum atriplicifolium)

If you can post a clearer photo at some point, that might help to narrow down the species. It's a cool-looking native plant.

I found two Arnoglossum with distribution in Volusia County but we currently have no data or photos in our database for either:
Florida Indian Plantain (Arnoglossum floridanum)
Ovateleaf Indian Plantain (Arnoglossum ovatum)

Thank you for getting back to me. I'll take some more pictures today and send them. I also have a few other plants that maybe you will know what they are.
The first 3 photos are one plant
The next 2 is another one.
And the last 2 is another one that kinda looks the same as the first one
