It may be Bitter Gourd (Momordica charantia) which is found throughout most of Central and South Florida. We have an issue with it taking over our property in Sebastian, Fl.

I agree I'm from Florida Jacksonville ,love garden and sent I been in South Carolina I have all kinds of vines,but that one I have seen before and no you will nor break out from it but I would not keep it. Get the roots of it and poor salt into were you dug it up from . Crossing Fingers! Crossing Fingers!

Salt is going to be a little hard on the azaleas.
