I received a beautiful order yesterday from Ladybug Daylilies. Dan trimmed them fairly short, but I swear that after they soaked overnight the centers of the fans have grown at least a half-inch, if not more, since yesterday! He sent multiple fans of everything, the smallest being three fans and on up to one that is at least seven large fans! I ordered: GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN LADYBUG SWEEEET WE'RE JAMMIN' And from Dan's Bargin Basement (all clumps of at least triple fans for $8.59): BARBARA DITTMER (small) CARIBBEAN AFFAIR GENEVA GRAPE ESCAPE LINDA TOUCHSTONE LOVELY LADYBUG (small) MARY ALICE STOKES I gave him some suggestions for a bonus plant, and he sent two from the top of my list! BEACHIN BABE (This is the big one with so many fans) MARYZELL I love some of the sculpted daylilies (this probably isn't the right term) he's come up with, and I'm really thrilled with my order! ![]() ![]() ![]() Betty |

Hi Betty, I just know you're proud of these. I haven't bought from him but I'll be looking later on when buying time comes again. They sure are pretty fans and I've seen that kind of growth too. It's like you can see them growing!!! Have fun, Mona |

Betty, lovely plants. Can't wait to go down and pick ours up for this year. That will have to come when we return to FL in May. Sweet Patootie is blooming already! Last year I had seed from them (only one pod, but have 6 babies). Since they say they don't come true from seed, I have potted them up and we will see what her babies look like. Mona, Dan is a great guy and honest. He also has a great website which features some excerpts from his Mom's newsletters. Each year I make a list and buy a few. Can't afford any of the really expensive ones but there is nothing wrong with the "bargain basement" ones. Any day you wake up on the sunny side of the grass is a good day. Yes, I highly recommend the Dan's Bargin Basement plants, and what a great price! Geneve Grape Escape and Geneva Firetruck are two of my favorite daylilies, and I couldn't believe he had them in that category this year! But if anyone is interested in getting some of those bargains, I would recommend you place an order sooner rather than later, because I can see some of them being snapped up and sold out pretty quickly! Thank you! I've been ordering some to try some hybridizing, so we'll see how it goes. I still haven't seen 2/3 of my daylilies from last year bloom yet, so who knows... Betty |

Those look great. He does trim them really short but in 2-3 weeks you'd never know it. I got mine today from Dan. I forgot to ask him if he had HIP HOP MUSIC before James Hall went down and got his daylilies and our club order to see if he had it. I had already thought I had asked him but it must have been WHALE TAILS I asked about. When James came back with someone elses order that had it in it I emailed Dan right away and he had it. He said it makes small fans but I've seen smaller. I was pleased. www.pensacoladaylilyclub.com |

Yeaaaaaaaaa your order from me is in Bakersfield out for delivery!!!! I forgot to check on it this morning to see where it was. I can't remeber if was you or someone else in California I shipped to in the fall, but that order went to Canada of all places before it arrived in at it's destination. Don't you dare post photos of them if the foliage is all yellow from the post office taking their sweet time delivering them ![]() www.pensacoladaylilyclub.com |

All these orders coming in along with the warm weather. Spring has sprung. Those plants look great with such a generous amount of fans. Congrats. |
