Ocotillos and this cool agave blooming down in the Anza Borrego where it was nice and warm..

And my favorite little mountain town of Julian got its share of the snow also....

Ha ha! I went to the orchid show in Santa Barbara Fri., and there was snow in the Santa Monica Mountains! The sad part was that I got 1/2" of rain out of the "big storm of the season". Crying

Fallbrook got 1.33". I think I heard briefly that we have more rain coming in next Monday, though not the storm that this one was.

Great shot of the ocotillo, loved seeing those when we were there in Anza Borrego a couple of years ago. And loved Jullian, hope to get back there again some day!

I've at times tried to convnce myself that I could grow the ocotillo here, but know it would be futile.....
