Good article on mummy berry. For us here in our area of Northern Virginia the biggest problem that we have is keeping the birds, especially catbirds, out of the bushes. They can clean a bush of berries in day, if the bushes are not screened or netted.

We used netting this year and they still got in. I plan to build a framed screen around our bushes for next year.

I used a few of those plastic owls the ones that hoot and eyes light up. It did the job ok.
