How To Attract Hummingbirds to Your Garden

By patrob

Attract hummingbirds to your yard and garden by planting some of their favorite flowers and by hanging nectar feeders when blooms are not plentiful. In addition to nectar, hummingbirds consume large numbers of tiny insects, such as mosquitoes, aphids, and whiteflies.

So true, so true. Good tip patrob. Thumbs up
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others.

So true! Spread out the feeders, the hummies are at times very territorial chasing away the others..so the bigger area to look out for, the bigger chance for the other little hummies to take their turn at the feeders Big Grin In my garden, I have seen the hummies love Kniphofias, Gaillardias, brad pear blooms..and they love to have areas to perch on a lot Big Grin They do not leave our area to migrate elsewhere, they just come and go everyday, well, except when weather is really so windy or rainy.
