Growing in north central Fl. zone 8. Not blooming just yet. Growing in a whole lot of shade. I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown ~~ |

I kept thinking how much that looks like my Asclepias viridis, but A. viridis doesn't have clasping leaves. So I just starting looking at all the milkweeds in Florida until I found a match. wildflowersoftexas.com texasnatureonline.com |

I am so excited about this! There are a goodly number of them all in that one area. Can't wait till they bloom but honestly, I think it's pretty cool looking even without blooms.
